Why?

In my 36 years I have been ALC, ELCA, LCMS and now WELS. I have come to realize that a synod cannot define a Confessional Lutheran, because we are defined by the Lutheran Confessions. Somehow I hope to make the case that it is now time for Quia Confessional Lutherans to break down the walls of "Synod" and once again walk in fellowship - a fellowship that is not defined by presidents and polity, both things that are not clearly defined in scripture and in the confessions - but rather a fellowship that is based on a common acceptance of Scripture as God breathed and without error and subscription to the 1580 Book of Concord, quia subscription to it, as the basis for fellowship and common belief.
